Ashlyn Nelson, LPC

Ashlyn is a Licensed Professional Counselor and certified School Counselor in the state of Texas. She has had a career in education for seventeen years, six of those years served in special education.  For four years she has worked in a behavior classroom, serving students and families on the autism spectrum and students with emotional or aggressive behaviors.  She has experience with children, adolescents, families and individuals.  She believes that each individual is capable of having self-direction, a growth mindset and ability to set goals, but sometimes we ALL need help to do so. 

Kristin Mangum, PhD.

Dr. Kristin Mangum is a licensed psychologist with 15 years of experience treating individuals, couples, and families in various clinical settings. She holds a doctorate in clinical psychology from the University of Missouri St. Louis and specialized in eating disorders at the Center for Eating Disorders at Sheppard Enoch Pratt Hospital. Dr. Mangum has served as a staff psychologist, provided telehealth services, and was the Director of Psychology at an outpatient eating disorder treatment center. She is well-versed in treating eating disorders, body image issues, anxiety, depression, self-esteem, stress management, and interpersonal problems. Her therapeutic approach is compassionate and optimistic, integrating Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), mindfulness, and interpersonal methods. She believes in helping individuals become "unstuck" from unhelpful patterns of thinking and behavior.

Tiffany Frezza, M.Ed

Tiffany Frezza is a passionate special education advocate dedicated to supporting parents of special needs children. With extensive knowledge of special education laws and rights, Tiffany assists families in navigating the complexities of the education system to ensure their children receive the appropriate services and accommodations. She works closely with parents to understand their child's unique needs, develop individualized education plans (IEPs), and advocate for necessary resources and support in school settings. Tiffany’s approach is compassionate and empowering, providing parents with the tools and knowledge they need to effectively advocate for their children. Her commitment to fostering inclusive and supportive educational environments makes her an invaluable ally for families seeking to maximize their child's potential and well-being.

Stephanie Clayton, LPC

Stephanie is a Licensed Professional Counselor in the State of Texas. She began her counseling career in 2010 and has 10 years experience in private practice. Stephanie also works in the public schools as a mental health and crisis counselor. She has training and experience working with children, adolescents, and young adults in the areas of trauma, depression, anxiety, and ADHD. Stephanie also has a passion for working with individuals who are diagnosed with Ehlers Danlos and other joint/connective tissue/autonomic nervous system related disorders and the unique challenges these present with mental health and day to day functioning. Her background includes training in Trauma Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy and Dialectical Behavioral Therapy and Stephanie places a strong emphasis on working with individuals in the areas of coping, emotion regulation, and interpersonal effectiveness skills. Stephanie is passionate about helping others live their best life while embracing qualities and characteristics that make them unique and incredible. 

Zoe Clasen, LPC-A

Zoe is a Licensed Professional Counselor Associate (LPC-A) dedicated to helping pre-teens, teens, young adults, and adults navigate life's challenges. For younger clients, she offers support for issues like bullying, self-esteem, grief, and social concerns. For adults, she provides guidance on relationships, anxiety, work-related struggles, and more. She aims to be a source of encouragement and understanding in difficult times.

 

She holds a Masters of Science in Counseling from Texas A&M University-Commerce. She is inspired by her own transformative experience with counseling after losing my brother in 2011. Growing up in a large blended family, including three adopted siblings, has deepened her appreciation for supporting young people. 

Mark Wallman, LPC

Mark Wallman, LPC, is a seasoned therapist with 32 years of experience, specializing in guiding individuals and systems toward self-awareness, truth, and peace. His approach fosters a trusting, non-judgmental environment that emphasizes strengths and helps clients identify and fulfill their needs.

Originally starting as a Licensed Chemical Dependency Counselor, Mark earned his LPC in 2008 and has practiced in Kentucky, Florida, New Jersey, and Texas. Mark specializes in helping individuals navigate and overcome addiction challenges. Mark's style is client-centered, collaborative, and direct, combining empathy with practical problem-solving. He draws on his own recovery journey from addiction, which began in 1987, and incorporates principles like unconditional positive regard, gratitude, and "paying it forward."

He continuously enhances his skills through ongoing education and is currently pursuing training in EMDR to further support his clients. Raised in Kentucky and West Virginia, Mark’s diverse life experiences span from the Appalachian Mountains to urban centers in the Northeast and South Florida, reflecting his openness to different environments and perspectives. He welcomes clients who seek an ally in their journey towards personal growth and truth.
